A 23,255 sq. ft. adaptive reuse of an existing warehouse in the M. L. King historical district into a hall serving as a vessel of cultural experience honoring Chattanooga's most beloved jazz artist. The building also houses an African American History Museum. The building includes a theater/supper club, administrative offices, exhibition spaces, library, media lab and a commercial kitchen. The project was completed May 1992.
